Your information, plainly
Privacy policy
This page explains, in plain language, what information this website collects and what happens to it.
What this site collects
When you send a message, request a Clarity Call, ask about the CGM Starter Kit, or join the newsletter, we collect what you type: your name, your email address, and your message. The Eight Pillars Self-Check runs entirely in your browser; your answers are only sent to us if you choose to email yourself your snapshot. Please do not include personal health information in any form on this site; the forms are for scheduling and general questions only.
What it is used for
To reply to you, to arrange the appointment or information you asked for, and, if you joined the newsletter, to send you Dr. Tiffany's letter. Consent is asked for at the point you give your email, and every letter includes a way to unsubscribe. Your information is never sold, and it is not shared with anyone outside the practice's team and the service providers who deliver email and scheduling on the practice's behalf.
Where it lives
Website messages are stored securely by the practice. Scheduling happens on Practice Better, the practice's secure clinical platform, under its own safeguards. If analytics are enabled on this site, they measure page visits in aggregate; they do not read your messages.
Your rights
Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA, gives you the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, and to ask that it be deleted. Write to info@drtiffanykeenan.com and we will respond.
Care is different from this website
Your medical records and anything you share as a patient are handled under the health privacy obligations that apply to physicians, separately from and more strictly than this website.
